We are continually developing patterns for both machine and hand knitting.
We also sell finished items that have been knitted by local craftspeople. These items are available to buy from the studio or at any of the shows we attend. If you would like to commission any garment please contact us.

Hints and Tips

Our 2PLY Hemp yarn is equivalent to a 'fine 4PLY'.
Our DK (4ply) is equivalent to a 'double knit'.
We all have our own knitting tension. To produce a garment to the size that you want please do knit a tension swatch and adjust accordingly. Remember to wash and treat the tension swatch as you would the finished garment. The garment will need to be washed to achieve the final sizing.
We recommend our 2PLY and DK for hand knit and both FINE and 2PLY for machine knitting.
If you are adapting a pattern of your own we highly recommend you knit a tension swatch and wash and treat this as you would the finished garment before taking measurements.
We have knit garments using 2 and 3 balls at a time i.e. 2 or 3 ends together.
If you are hand knitting with the natural yarn you might find it easier to wash the yarn first.
We do recommend hand washing your finished garment, wash separately for the first few washes, using warm soapy water.
